The last 3 machines in my studio are: a 1986 Kenmore (Janome) that Rick bought me after we were married. It's an all mechanical machine with 10 stitches and still sews beautifully. I use this one only as a spare machine right now. The second machine is our granddaughter's new Janome Cat Fancy machine. She loves this machine and sews all the time with it. My third machine is, of course, my longarm quilting machine. I bought her new in 2011 and used her professionally every day for 14 years. Since I've retired, I've only quilted 3 quilts, but she's there available whenever I need her. I've named her Mae, in honor of my grandmother Allie Mae, who was the most wonderful seamstress and quilter.
