Christmas in September..... What????

 Christmas in September.... What??? Hello my friends! I wanted to reach out to all of you and talk about the upcoming Christmas season and all the wonderful quilts that I know you're thinking of giving as gifts to your loved ones. I currently have about 30 quilts in line here in my studio to be quilted. I can do anywhere from 3-5 quilts a week (depending on the size). Therefore, I am roughly booked up until about November 1st. I am still only taking ONE quilt per client (which means if you have more than one quilt for Christmas, I will probably not be able to help you with your second quilt). THEREFORE - you all should be thinking of the quilts NOW that you want to give as Christmas gifts. If you have a quilt "in line" with me in my studio and you have a Christmas quilt that you need, then you can substitute the Christmas quilt for the one in my studio. You all should know too, for the first time ever, that I will not be working weekends this Christmas season. I will only be working Monday -Friday. So be kind to your long arm quilter and start thinking about Christmas quilts now.

 

 

Business update 5/28/2020

Business update: Hey friends! Thought I'd update you all on how I'm doing.........fanfare........ I'm down to only 4 client quilts in my studio! This hasn't happened in 9 years. I'm so excited! I will be finishing every quilt by the end of next week. After that, I'm taking a month vacation. I will be accepting new quilts starting Monday July 13. I want to say Thanks to all my clients and tell you all how much I appreciate your business and you all waiting for me to open again to work on your quilts. To honor that patronage, I will not be accepting any new clients for the forseeable future. I want to be able to spend time exclusively on your quilts. I'll put out another update once I've finished these last 4 quilts.

 Good morning my friends! As many of you know, my husband has Multiple Sclerosis and a compromised immune system. Because of that and this coronavirus, I'm temporarily changing the way I do business.
1) I am set up here with 30+ quilts that have already come in and will be workingn on those quilts.
2) As I get ready to work on your quilt(s), I'll send you an email and then send you pictures while I'm quilting them, as usual.
3) When your quilt is ready, I'll let you know. We'll set up a pickup time and I'll meet you at my front door. I just cannot allow anyone into our house at this time. I know you all understand.
4) I am not accepting new quilting orders at this time, hopefully for not more than 2-3 weeks.
5) If you have a quilt that is ready for me, please email me at jan@sylvaniaquilting.com. I have already started a list. I will contact you when I start accepting quilts again.
