22 yards of binding

 This week I've been working on a new wall hanging to go over our fireplace. (I've still got my Christmas wall hanging up). Our Easter dinner is Saturday, so my goal is to get this new wall hanging up before then. I've got the quilt on the longarm, but I had to make binding, because I bind the quilt while I'm longarming it. Anyway - I'm trying something new - I'm trying scrappy binding. I took a bunch of my 2.5" leftover strips of Kaffe Fassett fabrics and just starting sewing them together into binding. I ended up with 22 yards. (I only need 6). Tomorrow - I'll show you the finished quilt with the binding.
