Hello Friends! As most of you know, I'm taking vacation in January. I've been finishing multiple projects, including cutting up projects, putting together quilt tops, etc. I finished one today that I'm especially pleased with and thought I'd share it with you. Many years ago, I was inspired by Pat Sloan (who takes all of her extra blocks, cut offs, etc and at the end of the year, puts all those extra blocks and makes them into one quilt. her website is i love to make quilts dot com). So for several years, I've been saving my extra blocks. In fact, I now make an extra block or two for every quilt I make, just so have them for my year end quilt. I pulled out my 2020 bag and made a quilt from all my leftover blocks. The first picture is the finished quilt top, the second is the original layout of the blocks. This It turned out so much better than I expected.
