What's on the Frame? I have been working on a quilt for my niece and her husband for about 2 years. This is called Spice Market, a pattern from McCalls Quick Quilts. I don't think I'd call it quick - each block is a half log cabin made from 2 or 1-1/2" batik strips and there's 85 blocks. The quilt ended up being 95x95. I quilted it with a pattern called Interlocking Swirls. Then I used a variegated Gold, Green and Red thread called Pharaoh's Treasures. This thread perfectly picked up and accented all the fabrics in the quilt. Love how it turned out!
