What's on the Frame Today? Kathy D's "Going on a Picnic" quilt

 

What's on the Frame Today? Kathy D's quilt "Going on a Picnic". The blocks were made as part of the quilt along with Pat Sloan. Then Kathy used the pattern "BQ2" by Maple Island Quilts for the setting. 
 
This quilt has a more modern feeling, so we went with the quilting pattern Interlocking Dots. The quilting accents the fabric in the quilt. Then we used the variegated thread Shifting Sands.
