What's on the Frame Today? Karen T. brought in one of her mother's quilt tops that she found. We think it has vintage 30's fabrics used in it. But this is a very unusual quilt - all the squares are appliqued on to the pink background fabric. I've never seen a quilt done like this and it's really well done. There are hardly any ripples or wrinkles in the pieced squares - I don't know how her mother appliqued these on so well. Karen chose the quilting pattern Leaves 'n Loops. Then we used a light blue, pink, yellow, green and purple variegated thread.
