Neil's tshirt quilt

Cindy C came into my studio and had me make a tshirt quilt for her son Neil for Christmas. This is one of the larger quilts that I make - 20 squares - 4 squares across and 5 squares down. We quilted it with a dark variegated grey thread and the pattern Meander 2. The last picture in this post of one of his favorite shirts - an Ozzy shirt. It was more holes than shirt. But I was able to fuse a piece of fabric to the shirt and make it stable enough to include it in the quilt.
