Retirement quilt

This is Cathy F's quilt that she made for her husband's retirement. She had people sign fabric squares and put those into the quilt. Then she also added special photographs printed onto printable fabric and put those into the quilt as well. We picked a quilting pattern that is a freehand meander version of dots and circles. Freehand means that instead of following a set pattern, I quilted around each item as was needed. So in the quilting picture, you'll see that I did not quilt through the photograph and accent quilted the signature block.
