new client came into my studio last year. She had purchased 3
comforters and wanted them quilted. They were minimally quilted but she
felt they needed more quilting. Denser quilting will extend the life
of a quilt. I was concerned about quilting an already quilted
comforter - but we tried it. And we succeeded! We chose an allover
meander for the quilting pattern. That took care of all the loose
excess fabric that wasn't properly quilted to the comforter. There
were 3 identical comforters, which only differed in size - so I've only
posted of one comforter here.
