polly fox quilt

This is a quilt made by the students at the Polly Fox Academy in Toledo. Polly Fox Academy is an alternative school for 7-12 grade pregnant and parenting girls. So over the course of the last 2 years, the girls have put this quilt together. Their teacher brought it to me to quilt. 



 So I did outline quilting around the applique hearts and butterflies and did a freehand heart and loop pattern in all the open areas. I understand that they will be hanging the quilt in either the main hallway or cafeteria of the school. Here's a link to their website: http://www.pollyfox.org/
