Sailboat

This is a sailboat quilt that we quilted for a client.

 

 

Here's a close-up of the quilting on the sailboat quilt. It's a pattern called "Smoke". But the pattern really looks like air currents - hmmm..... maybe I need to change the name of the pattern. In this case, having the quilting thread the same color as the background of the sailboat was the right choice. If we had used blue to blend in the borders, it would have been very distracting when you looked at the sailboat.
