Here's a close up of the quilting on the Americana quilt. It's a pattern I call "stars and swirls". We quilted it with variegated red, white and blue thread.

Americana block of the month
We just finished this quilt this week. It was
from a block of the month from Sonflower Quilts in Sylvania Ohio called
"Americana". A block of the month is when you go every month to pick
up a pack of fabric and instructions to make one block. Your goal is to
complete that block before the next month. And the end of 12 months,
you have 12 blocks done and ready to make into a quilt.
