Cross Stitched Quilt

Toni B brought in this absolutely beautiful cross stitch quilt. It was cross stitched by her grandmother-in-law. Toni put the panels together to make the quilt and then brought it to me to do custom quilting. Custom quilting means that instead of a pantograph pattern (same pattern from edge to edge), we quilt following the quilt piecing on the quilt top. As a rule, I almost never do custom quilting. However, in this case, the quilting lines were already pre-printed onto the quilt top. I included a photo of the pink back of the quilt - you can really see the quilting on that. The quilt was presented to Toni's mother-in-law for Christmas. What a wonderful legacy!
