OSU quilt



This is a client's OSU quilt. She made this quilt and a University of Michigan quilt. Both quilts will be raffled off to support a local fire department. This is an interesting pattern - it uses the log cabin block to make the letters. This pattern is from the Alphabet Soup Quilt patterns.



This is a close-up of the quilting on the Ohio State University quilt. It's a pattern I call "Flames and Footballs".

  1. Thank you for the close-up of the quilting. I have been trying to figure out what to quilt as well as what color thread(s) to use. It looks like you used gray for the whole thing. I bought gray with that in mind, but didn't know if I should use white and red in those areas. I like what you did. Now to practice...
